SCHOOLS While no schools are located within Emerald Isle's corporate limits, elementary, middle and high schools, both public and private, are in close proximity.
MEDICAL Doctors and dentists have offices in Emerald Isle with numerous clinics and hospitals located within a twenty mile radius of Town.  Emergency Medical Services are provided by the Emerald Isle Emergency Medical Services Squad, one of the most well trained, highly certified and properly equipped volunteer EMS services in all of Eastern North Carolina.
